Military Hanger - In partnership with the US Army Corps of Engineers in the Middle East, the Egyptian Air Force needed a new airport to maintain and maintain up to four fighter jets. Our team was brought in as a lead designer to provide architectural, interior, civil and aerospace design and structural design services for this one-story hangar port. We also provided consulting design engineering services for mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), telecommunications and life safety/fire protection design services.
The hangar consists of conference rooms, administrative support rooms and various maintenance areas that are used by the Egyptian Air Force 24 hours a day, 6 days a week. A concrete apron has been extended to the taxiway and adjacent runway with two additional aircraft stands. The building will reflect a green strategy using sustainable techniques and materials.

Our team provided master program services for the project and provided floor design and approved equipment design for the maintenance areas in collaboration with the USACE and the Egyptian Air Force. The design was completed in 2020 without virtual meetings or face-to-face meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A new RUBB service hangar has been built for the 23rd Marines and the 75th Engineer Regiment based in Minden, Germany. The hangar is used to maintain the amphibious vehicle M3.
